Since the 1980s we have been supporting the Good Samaritan Program whose purpose is to minister to the needs of people in our community that struggle to provide essentials for their families. Food donations have been gather on Sundays to bring in items most needed by this outreach program. In addition to the on going food donations we have also raised funding through endowments and offerings from the congregation. We have had our youth involved in collecting food, collecting donations through the "Souper Bowl" donation drive, and by volunteering time to help sort and move palets of food items. We have had many church members serve on the Board of Directors and be representatives of our church by giving of their time to help support this program.
