All God’s Children is a ministry of First Presbyterian Church, Manchester that grew out of desire to keep the children in lowincome neighborhoods from being hungry during the summer. Deidra Goins and Kim Davis were moved to do something about the plight of these children and as a result made an effort to answer the  call to care for these vulnerable members of our community.

We started by working with Second Harvest of Middle Tennessee, the Manchester Housing Authority, Coffee County Children’s Advocacy, Food Lion, and the Manchester Times. In the history of this ministry, the Manchester Police Department, First United Methodist Church (Manchester), First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Tullahoma, and First Presbyterian Church (Tullahoma) have been partners with us.

This ministry now runs all year long. Our many volunteers serve breakfast Monday through Friday from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. and lunch on Monday and Wednesday during the summer. We want to provide a safe place for these children to do homework as well and we have given them a place to use computers and have homework assistance to excel in their schoolwork. We are always in need of volunteers to help in our community effort and if you are interested please email us at fpcmanchester@gmail.com for more information.
